[SOLVED] Print Waypoint Comments and Names

I have a number of maps with a large number of markers (waypoints) that have more detailed descriptions about them in their respective "Comments" sections. This works great in app, but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to get them printed.

I know that I can print a list of the markers through "Print a Coordinate List". This would be good enough in theory, but the problem is that the list does not show the "Label" (name) of the marker on that list. If it did, I could just print a map with labels active and then easily cross reference with the list to get my information.

As it is, I would have to laboriously cross refence the location information with the map. Less than ideal in the field.

Am I missing something? I've searched Google, the CalTopo Training section online, and this forum but nothing came up.

    Hi Jack, 

    The print coordinate list should be printing the marker names along with the comments.

    Thanks to Rachel for working this out with me.

    Apparently I needed to change the display settings in the map settings to:

    Show Labels "All"

    for the waypoint names to appear in the "Print A Coordinate List".

    Problem solved. Thanks again for your help
