Bug Report: DEM Shading
Using Caltopo via the browser (I tried both Chrome and Firefox on multiple devices) The "Add Rule" button seems to currently be broken and does not import the text code into the rule box.
If you type the code manually the DEM shading will still appear.
Please fix :) I don't have all the hand code for the rule box memorized
Thank you!

Oh no! Thanks for letting us know! We'll take a look and get that fixed.
If anyone needs a workaround now, here are some examples you can paste into the DEM Shading Rules box
s30-45 0000FF-FF0000 <- shade slopes angles of 30 degrees to 45 degrees, fading from blue to red
a90-270 FF0000-00FF00 <- shade aspects of 90 degrees to 270 degrees, fading from red to green
e1000-8848 00FF00-00FF00 <- shade elevations between 1000 and 8848 meters green
e5280-29032f 000000-0000FF <- shade elevations between 5280 and 29032 feet, fading from black to blue
t50-100 00FF00-00FF00 <- shade area with canopy cover between 50 and 100% green
s20-45a0-180e3000-5000ft0-30 008080 <- shade area that has { a slope angle between 20 and 45 degrees AND has an aspect of 0 to 180 degrees AND is between 3000 and 5000 ft AND has canopy cover between 0 and 30% } teal
Googling e.g. "yellow hex color" can help you find the 6 digit color codes which in yellows example is FFFF00
If you didn't notice yet, we did fix this. :)
Awesome, so fast, thank you!
