Allow recursive deletion of folder (folder and its contents) Not planned
Sometimes I want to remove an entire folder by pressing the Trash Can icon (delete). If there are contents in the folder, I'm presently required to remove them first. That's a drag because it is many extra steps to "Bulk Ops" the contents, drag through the table, delete those items. And only then can I get back to my original objective - delete the entire folder.
So, instead of a requirement to delete all interior items, please implement a confirmation dialog that asks "Folder contains many items. Delete those as well?"

This is not something we plan to implement due to the risk of accidentally deleting maps.
Perhaps a confirmation dialog would be an acceptable way to prevent accidents while still allowing the convenience?
Because of OP's mention of Bulk Ops, he's probably referring to items within a map - not referring to account-level-items. Agreed that the ability to recursively delete an account-level folder sounds scary. I've wished for delete-folder-and-all-contents inside a map too a few times, though potential accidental misuse could be dodgy. Maybe this makes more sense once Undo is up and running?
