Gantenbein and MDOW

Hello. Is there a formula repository for Relief Shaded? While keeping things in perspective due to obvious limitations, I was able to replicate Gantenbein and MDOW from USGS. Unfortunately, my country (Colombia) does not have DEM data with a resolution better than 1". However, the formulas have been very useful to me. We hope that one day the DEMs over South America will have a better resolution than the current ones.
