Geotiff import always requires manual alignment
Title. When trying to import a GeoTIFF as a custom map layer on Caltopo desktop, it always forces me to (re)align it by hand (which is basically impossible when the image is of a forest). Anyone know what I'm missing here? What format(s) is the importer expecting? If I upload the GeoTIFF as a single .tiff file, it says "Unable to locate georeferencing information, you will need to align this layer by hand." If I try to upload a zip folder containing a .tiff and .tfw, it says "Unable to add layer: Unable to render image in current format; file may be too large." The image size is 1.8MB and the uplaoder says the max is 40MB.

The GeoTiff need to be in EPSG:3857.
