Metric verbal map scale (1cm = X meters)

Please add metric verbal map scales to maps. I create USNG maps that are based on metric and 1 inch to whatever feet or miles verbal scales are not very useful. Just made a 1:2,500 scale map and it printed with verbal scale of 1 inch = 208 feet when I needed it to say 1 cm = 25 m. In the meantime, I've been putting that info in the map name but not an ideal solution.
