Bug Report: TypeError: can't access property "type", e is undefined

Howdy. Here's a small bug report: 

Open up a new map. 

Press "Shift T". This will start measuring a line.

Then, press "Escape". The following alert box will pop up: 

TypeError: can't access property "type", e is undefined

    And somewhat related, I initially pressed, "T" (uppercase) to change the Base Map Layer to "Topo", but that only works if you use a lower case "t". I guess as it stands the labeling on the right hand side next to the Topo Base Layer is a bit confusing,
