BUG: Line formats default to straight when switch to 3D

Damian Romard

I noticed on reviewing a recent search that if a line includes arrows in 2D, the arrows are lost if the user switches to 3D. See attached images of a recorded drone flight.

That's unfortunately intentional behavior based on the way we render line patterns - arrows, but also things like dashes.  We tried, but since we do this ourselves (ie each arrow is actually an object we're passing to the map library, instead of the map library drawing the pattern itself), there was no performant way to make line patterns work in 3D.
