Additional ways to turn object visibility on and off

I would love it if we could change object visibility via the map. Specifically, if you are looking at an object, and want to turn it off, it would be convenient to do it via the left click menu and/or the edit menu, rather than having to hunt for the object in the "map objects" menu on the left of the screen. This would be especially helpful for a map with a lot of objects in it (which is very common for me)!
