Ability to generate a definable UAV search grid by right clicking on created polygon

Requesting an additional feature to generate a search grid within an existing polygon with the following parameters:

  • Grid path width / spacing (lawnmower style)

  • Altitude (AGL/MSL)

  • Adjustable grid orientation / bearing (drag bearing lines by clicking on line with mouse)

Once generated, the grid should be exportable to DJI Enterprise platforms (M4TD) as a flyable mission with waypoints and settings.

Use Case: Rapid SAR deployment using UAVs—automated grid creation saves time, improves coverage, and eliminates manual waypoint entry.  We use SARTopo in conjunction with Eagle Eye Search, but we need a way for IC's to build out search area plans for rapid deployment of UAS assets.

    This would be good for K9 searches too if it is what I think it is. Not familiar with UAV but having a means to spec grids would defiantly help with K9 searches.
