Historic Weather Data

I love having access to the live + 7 day history for weather stations on the map, it's super helpful in planning. Expanding this to include historic or even better, historic average weather data would be great. For example, I often plan trips months before I plan on starting, having quick access to weather trends for a specific weather station for a given month/day would be super helpful. Typically, I just end up trying to find the weather station and locate that appropriate government website to pull data from to get a longer history but this is very time consuming.

    Agreed on the benefit, and it's something we've talked about internally but just haven't had the bandwidth to pursue.  Most of our weather station data comes from Synoptic; although it takes a few extra clicks until we support something better, you can locate the station at viewer.synopticdata.com and access historical data there, hopefully more efficiently than trying to find the government page for the specific network that station belongs to.
