Unfortunately neither of these are options with consistent support across the various mapping libraries we use. Polygon perimeter styles would at least be something we could shoehorn in by passing the mapping library a styled line and a borderless polygon, but there would be added complexity on our end trying to track those as a single object. Without native mapping library support, polygon pattern fill is a much bigger lift.

In addition, the ability to select a different line type (dashed, dash-dot, etc.) for the outline would also be super helpful.
