UTM Grid lines Not Accurate
I found when I select the option for printing UTM grid lines and select a scale of 1:25,000 the
grid line on the printed map are about 3 lines off when an accurate 1:25,000 Romer scale is
overlaid on the grid. Is there some feature I'm not seeing for calibrating my printer correctly?

It does appear that we have a small bug here. I have passed this on to the developer team to investigate. For right now, when printing if you choose a grid size other than "auto" (1 km is great) this should print fine.
If you continue to encounter trouble, a common mistake is enabling "fit to page" as this will change the scale. Look through your settings for this or similar. If you have further questions email us at help@caltopo.com.
I found the same thing. I was testing a Scale Master Pro against printed CalTopo maps at various scales (1:15k, 1:20k, 1:24k, 1:25k, and 1:50k) and consistently found the the UTM gridlines set at 1k were consistently off as compared to the Scale Master Pro and three separate UTM Plotters. Generally, the gridlines (and the scale at the bottom of the map) have been off by around 3-4%.

Hi!
FYI - That is the grid size setting I used when the .pdf map printed out of scale so I don't think that is a suitable workaround.
Hi!
We’ve looked deeper into this and confirmed that everything on our end is working correctly. The issue is most often related to printer settings, please double-check that the paper size is correct and that the printer is set to print at actual size (not scaled).
We also wanted to clarify our previous message, which was sent in error:
That response was incorrect, and we apologize for the confusion.
If you're still having trouble, one common issue is the "fit to page" option being enabled, which will change the scale. Look for that setting or anything similar in your print dialog and disable it.
