Dispaly entire line length "real time" when drawing a line (not just after its drawn)

It would be nice to see the distance of the *entire* line that you've drawn to this point, as you draw it - not just the distance from the last point/click on the trail. This would make it much easier to draw a trail of a certain length; you would not need to go back and measure it, then make adjustments to length/shorten it.  (The measure tool is nice but it would be better if more *real-time* line length reporting was displayed, as the mouse is moved to select the next line locartion. This would give the line drawer immediate feedback without needing to wait to see the line length later, after completely drawing it).

It looks like you are trying to show the length of the line, but only from the last click (although that doesn't work when snapping to an existing trail; please see that feature request).   So if this is added, please make sure it works when snapping to an existing trail.
