Measure the distance of a line at different points
Is there a fast way to measure the distance of a line at specific points? For example, if I have a line following a trail, and I wanted to measure the distance at a turn off halfway along the line, is there a quick way to do this? Currently, we are splitting the line, measuring it at the split, and then re-joining the line. I imagine there's a better way though?
