Deep Link?
I have a site I've setup for those arriving on scene to join a search team for them to sign in. I've put a button on there to bring them to the map in CalTopo. Works well for most people but some are going to a browser caltopo instead of the app.
I just started looking into deep links when I came across:

I had one of those having problems try: https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=37.80731,-107.67682&z=14&b=imagery and it brought up the app instead of browser but I'm not sure how to get it to the right map

Opening a browser instead of the app is typically due to one of two things:
1) Outdated app version. We made some changes to the length of the map ID's and older versions of the app cannot open these directly. Ensure these members are on the most recent app version available in the app store. I suggest encouraging auto updates to avoid bugs/issues in the future.
2) Device settings. Will differ depending on the device but something along the lines of: Settings --> Apps --> CalTopo --> Open by Default --> turn on "in the app" and allow caltopo.com (and sartopo.com if you use Sartopo links still).

I've been able to check about 1/3 of the ones that were having problems and they were no longer having problems so they may have upgraded.
