App Version 1.16.1 New Profile Interface is Terrible on Mobile
I just updated to app version 1.16.1 and I immediately wish I could downgrade.
On mobile, the new interactive line profile completely removes all the rich information and graphs that were provided for slope angle, elevation, land cover, aspect, etc. This was easily my most used feature in Caltopo and I use a quick profile to check slope angles in the backcountry dozens of times in a ski tour. How is this an upgrade to get rid of some of the most useful features? Fingers crossed that it is just a bug and that CalTopo has not completely lost their way.

Oh, and it is still buggy as always if you flip to horizontal orientation on a mobile device with the profile pulled up. That is still just as terrible as it has been for years now.

Hey Grant, thanks for writing in!
We felt that the ability to interact with the profile by moving your finger along it was a big enough upgrade to justify any loss of information. But we've heard from a handful of people, including yourself, that the additional information is sorely missed and that removing it was a mistake. Because of this feedback version 1.17 will include a button to expand the profile so that you can still get to all the rich information you loved from the previous version. Version 1.17 is currently being tested and will be available relatively shortly. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
So keep an eye out for 1.17, hopefully it's the best of both worlds!

on version 1.20.3 there's a button that displays extra info about the track, such as slope angle, etc., which is nice however, it does not display it like the desktop version does, along the bottom of the window with the profile. While it's nice to know summative information about teh track, you really need to know these things (slope angle in particular) at specific places on the track. Please consider making the profile window display the same way it does on the desktop!
