Print latitude/longitude grid lines, not just tic marks

John

It would be great to have an option to print actual latitude/longitude grid lines on maps. For the past many years, I've been using a ruler and pencil to add them in by hand. I use the printed maps on my off-trail backpacking trips with my Garmin Foretrex, which doesn't display digital maps.

I use a program to add them to the pdf when I have more than a couple to print.

Yes, please add lines of longitude with control over color and width.

I use these to determine my location since each minute of latitude = 1 nautical mile.  Now, I can readily determine the scale as well as approximating my location on a paper map based on the GPS coordinates given by my Garmin device.

Then, add the ability to NOT include the "scale" information the bottom of the printed map thus increasing the amount of the map which can be printed.
