Keep screen on when connected to power source

Would love a "keep screen on when connected to power" option.  Using Caltopo while driving right now is a PITA - the screen times out every few minutes.  Can probably write a Tasker thingy to accomplish this, but Tasker needs to run all the time which affects battery life.

    until they have something this this, you might try a "keep screen on" App. I know there is one for android.

    Good point. Was going to do it with Tasker but Kinscreen is simpler - can be set to keep screen on when device is tilted more than 45 deg and/or a particular app is running in addition to multiple other options. Surprised that it is free.

    As of app version 1.10.9 the phone screen will stay on as long as the map is in 'locked' mode. 'Locked' mode is explained here in the user guide: https://training.caltopo.com/all_users/mobile/navigation#locked
    'Heading up' mode will also keep the phone screen on.

    Worth noting that if you pan the map such that it's no longer centered on you the map will leave 'locked' mode and the screen will no longer stay on.
