Smooth map movement on app?
Greetings! I am a subscriber and use the web and phone app extensively. I came over from the other mapping system, (starts with G) and so far love Caltopo. One thing that I dont like though is the phone app when tracking my location. Not recording a track, but just have it on screen while navigating back roads. I have it set to Keep Centered but it seems to move the location dot across the page, then redraw the page. It would be better if the dot stayed in the center and the map flowed smoothly as you move. Is that possible. Additionally can the dot be made into a more directional icon like an arrow? I am not seeing these options in the settings.

Hello, we are making some updates to the app that should help with this. You will want to live track going forward in order to keep your location up on the screen.
In regards to the dot not showing an arrow this is likely due to device settings. Please send us an email at help@caltopo.com with your account email and device details so we can help trouble shoot.
