[SOLVED] Accidentally imported GPX with too much data. Now I can't open my map any more.

Jack

As the title suggests: I accidentally imported an external file into my map that appears to have been too large (or had too many individual items). I tried to stop the import and closed the page, but apparently the import continued in the background.

The problem is that I'm unable to open my map again. When I click to open the map from the "Your Data" overlay, the browser window turns white (just like it initially does when I open any other map), but then just stays like that no matter how long I leave it running. I even left it running throughout the night and half a day, but nothing.

Is there any way to revert to an earlier version of the map or is my data lost and I have to start again?

Thanks very much in advance

We can certainly take a look. Please email us at help@caltopo.com including the email you use to log in and the map name or URL for account specific assistance.

So the file is not recoverable, but thanks to Marc at CalTopo, I got all my data back from a previous version of my map. Thank you very much to all of you at CalTopo and sorry for my unnecessary blunder.
