Show one parcel at a time

Apologies if I missed this answer in my searches, but I am trying to show just one parcel at a time in order to make sure Ive got the boundaries correct when many lines coincide. Can I search and show just one or more parcel boundaries or otherwise show anything other than then entire parcel layer?

Unfortunately there is no way to show only one parcel at a time.
