I have been testing the Time Travel feature for SAR planning and am curious, for those who have utilized it, how accurate was the estimated mileage for both the hiking and off-trail categories. I am aware (and experimented with that option) that I can customize the three values of comparative ratio numbers (uphill, flat and downhill), but curious just how accurate the standard settings have calculated out for any of you. I am writing plans/tasks for a hiker cold case and am using the feature to determine where the missing subject would have encountered both the sunset and darkness, and then determining significant decision points along the route that would have been troublesome for navigation, perhaps leading the subject off the trail.
