Is there a way to use html/link in marker comments?

I'd like to be able to put html such as links in the comments for a marker/waypoint and have it rendered for format with clickable links. So far I haven't found how to do this.

Unfortunately this feature is not available at this time. You can add comments to waypoint but they are not clickable links.

Ok. Thanks for confirming. Is there a way to submit this as a feature request?

My basic requirement is I want to tie a photo to a waypoint/marker. Having a link to the photo was actually a workaround, but being able to upload the photo would be even better.

    -Thanks

Photo waypoints is a feature in the works. I do not have an ETA at this time. We are not currently planning to add the workable links in the comments though.

I'd love to see clickable links option in comments as well (would save me hours in the mobile app, at least), for example the link https://listsofjohn.com/peak/24563 provides not only pictures, but trip reports, ascent logging, and much more info than I'd want to fit in comments:

Agreed. This would provide much greater access to information.

I would like to see this feature too. Our K9 SAR Team has a map of emergency vets around the state in case of a K9 injury at a search or training. The vet's contact info is in the comment field but it can be out of date, especially the night and weekend business hours. I've tried putting the URL in the comment field, highlighting it, right clicking on it, and choosing GO TO. That works ok but it would be pretty clumsy in an emergency. A link directly to the vet's web site in the Label or Comment would be a great way to get their current address, phone number, hours, and even directions from the dog handler's current location.

Just today I added a dozen markers to the map of my next run, pasting into each links to Facebook posts of others' recon runs on that section.

Clickable links would be a nice quality of life improvement.

I second (or third, or fourth) this.  Immediate use case is linking to 360 photos in proper photo-viewer for situational awareness, but also would be useful for linking to documents, shared google drives, etc.
