Adding a 'networked' file for waypoints?
I maintain a database of waypoints containing various fields with custom icons that consist of ~25 years of my travels; campsites, cool stuff, notes, etc. I have a script that breaks down the data regionally and exports the contents in various formats for different applications to a network accessible site. Every time I add new data, the script uploads a new version of the file. The file is xml based and in most applications I can click on the icon and a pop-up will show me all the details.
How can I get the exported file to work on caltopo without having to continually upload a copy after every update? Is there a networked file option or API I am not seeing?
