How to delete points in a GPX track?
I see how to edit a track and view the track as a series of little boxes. I see how to move individual boxes. I don't see how to delete boxes. Can I view the track in table format? I'll attach a screenshot of Garmin Basecamp. Basecamp makes editing GPX tracks easy, by displaying each GPS point in a table. I can easily delete points, sometimes hundreds in a few clicks.. This is important for privacy reasons in a shared public map as it's easy to forget to stop the track when you get back to your car, and then your track displays your drive home to your driveway. It's also best practice to remove sections where you wandered off course.

Hi Thomas, this section of the user guide on working with existing lines will be helpful: https://training.caltopo.com/all_users/objects/existing-lines.
One option for the case you described above is to split the line at the end of the hike and delete the section that is not needed.
