suggestion for improvement

Sonny Lawrence

I have red/green deficit color blindness. I would like to be able to permanently change the default settings for markers. That way each time I log on, I can have my preferred color and sharp automatically populate a new marker.

1 When you hover over a point on a track give the miles and elevation

    2. Allow cuting and pasting tracks to make a new GPX file

Regarding red/green color blindness.  I, like many others, have this same issue (markers, lines, polygons, map legends, etc.) which makes CALTopo very difficult to use especially on a mobile device. The issue is 2-fold.  1. When I create map objects I would like to be able to change the default colors for the various objects. This would simplify my process for marking clues, creating search tracks, etc. 2. Probably more important - a "color blind mode" so that we can see objects created by others (Incident Command and Management) that are using red and green colors. Perhaps by addressing #1 with a default color profile then Incident Command could use a profile that addresses this issue.  On our SAR team of more than 50 active members we have over a dozen people that struggle with this issue.  A good start would be to have the default object colors be anything other than green or red! Thanks for listening.
