More reference points for aligning Map sheets

It would be nice if you could add more than 2 reference points when aligning map sheets. I do a lot of field mapping using pictures of 40 scale blueprint size topo maps. Some times things don't line up just right with only 2 points. Allowing 4 or more points would allow the image to be stretched to fit. The app Custom Maps on Android does this. It would be great if Caltopo did this as well.
