Getting distances when drawing an area assignement
Hi,
I am trying to draw an area assignement of 200m x 100m, but I can't find the length of the line when I am drawing it.
Is there a way to see the distance between 2 points while drawing lines?

You can start by adding a line assignment. As you draw a line, a box pops up and displays the length of the line and the heading. When you get to the end of the line, click once and then move to the next point of the polygon. Continue until you close the polygon and finish it with a double click. Move to cursor over a point on one of the lines and left click it. Choose Modify from the drop down menu. Select Convert to Area Assignment. I'm not sure if this is the best or only way but it works.
