Sub-folders

Mooresville SAR

Would it be possible to add function to create sub-folders for Map Objects, such as the ability to create folders for Ops periods then sub-folder for tracks.  This may not be needed for single ops period incidents, although for multi-day incidents could add benefit for organization and decluttering large data for viewing.

    Seriously...

Do we have to beg for this?  It's pretty basic functionality and lacking at present

Subfolders do exist.  Have for a while.  Under MAP ITEMS, ADD, select FOLDER.

Folders/sub-folders exist for maps. But not for base and overlay layers to help reduce clutter on the right side menu.

Nanook, those are folders.  We're talking SUB-folders, nested folders, hierarchical folders, whatever you want to call them.  For large, multi-day incidents, for example, it would be handy to be able to have top-level folders for each day, then within those have sub-folders for (for example) K9, ground-pounders, UAS, sector definitions, etc.  Or alternatively maybe the top-level folder is K9, and under that sub-folders for each day's work.

SUBfolders, Nanook.  As in "folders within folders"

    Context is above

SUB folders. Ah, well then, strike my previous off-target comments.

Yes, I agree. Basic hierarchical directory management functions would indeed be a big help.
