Permissions based on folders

I am looking for a way to set member permissions based off the fold a map is in.  Basically I want a place to store old searches in a location that members can still view the map but no longer edit it.  So if they don't have Admin or Manage permission level they can't modify maps.  This is to insure that maps from old active searches keep historical data intact.  Does anyone have this process in place that can share how they do it?

    Hi Mark, 

    We are considering implementing a way to "lock" maps in the future. For the time being we do have a work around.

    It sounds like you are on a team account, this feature is only available with a team account.

    You can set up a sub-team https://training.caltopo.com/all_users/team-accounts/sub-teams, and set downward visibility to none. This means that team-members on the main/parent team can only see data in this sub-team if you add them. Then you can add the admin personnel that need to have access to this data on the sub-team. No one else will be able to view the maps that you move there.
