Add range rings that move and stay centered on current location

I'd like to see range rings that move and stay centered on my current position.  This is a quick way to judge distance from my current position to any point on the map.

BackCountry Navigator offers this under Settings > GPS Pointer Options > Show Range Rings > [select range(s)].  

CalTopo offers range rings, but these are centered around a fixed point on the map (not my current position).

Bonus points if the range rings scale with zoom level (like way zoomed in shows a 100 foot ring and way zoomed out shows a 100 mile ring).

    Agree...I always liked turning on range rings in BCN to judge my distance from THs ect.  I made the switch to CalTopo almost two years ago and there have been lots of great improvements, but I still would love to see range rings that stay centered on my position.
