MAP SHEET RESOLUTION

 Will it be possible to import pdf map sheets at higher resolutions?  I have some maps created with .3m pixels, and when I add the mapsheet it is very pixelated when zoomed in.  I can't read labels on the map sheet and when compared to the satellite imagery on the base map it's quite poor.  What is the dpi of imported pdf map sheets?

    I have to imagine its nothing to do with caltopo and based on the resolution of the pdf?

    No, I have tried with various pdf resolutions from 200 to 600 dpi and still displays the same

    I also have this problem when adding a map sheet from an image or pdf which needs manual georeferencing. Once georeferencing is done, the map sheet is extremely low-resolution compared to the image that I uploaded.
