HI, Stephen here from Iron County, UT- SAR

I would like to create a map overlay of all of the trailheads in our county. I would like this overlay to be available in the phone version so that we can turn it on and turn it off on top of any map that we are working with just like the other standard overlays. I created a map "trailheads" I manually placed TH markers at each trailhead. but I can not figure out the steps to convert just the markers to an overlay. Can you help?

    Hi Stephen,

For this you'll need to create your own layer via Mapbox and host it there. Instructions are at (this link)[https://training.caltopo.com/all_users/base-layers/custom3].

The other option that is much more "workaround" in style is to
    1. start with the map with all the data points on it, stored in one or two folders
1a. probably set the folders to NOT load on page load
    2. when starting a new map for a mission, make a copy of that map
    3. use this map copy as the new mission map. Users can turn the folders with the data on and off as necessary.

    Thanks,
    Julie
