NewBee ..... I created 2 Assignment Areas on the map & selected the print icon. The print displays a very pixilated image that looks nothing like the map.

Attached are two screenshots ..... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

    Good morning,
Some layers such as global imagery have contractual restrictions on printing. I unfortunately cannot see what layer this is, but if you attempt to print with a layer that we cannot legally print we revert to alternate imagery. Typically in the US the best imagery layer for printing will be the NAIP layer. We're in the midst of making a change so all imagery defaults to the highest resolution available.

However this also looks like a very small area so your mileage may vary with regard to printing aerial imagery.

    Best,
    Ben

The layer I was using was ³Global Imagery². I switched to the NAIP layer
but the quality of the print map is not that good. We are evaluating using
    SARtopo for our search teams

Our search teams work many urban, small areas and high quality map prints
are a high priority for the Task Assignments that are generated. What
options does SARtopo have for generating high quality printed maps? Today we
use Google Earth Pro imagery is used.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Ray,

Satellite imagery is never going to print well when zoomed in this much in SARTopo. You'd be much better off having searchers use the mobile app if they need to view satellite or aerial imagery while on the ground. Any of the topo map layers will print better. Or if you can find a custom imagery source (such as using a drone to capture images and importing those to SARTopo as a custom MapBox layer) you may be able to print that. Google does not allow any printing of their maps via a third party platform, nor can you view it in the app unfortunately.

Please see our User Guide for more details about integrating the mobile app into your searches, any other printing questions, and more!

    Thanks,
    Julie
