    HI Scott,

Login to the web browser version, go to "Your Data" near the upper right corner of the page, choose the "desktop access tab" and follow the instructions there.

    Thanks,
    Julie

That looks right. Next step is to go to your browser and type in the localhost:8080 address.

Typed in http://DESKTOP-DKD3DRJ:8080/ into the browser. Got a return “desktop-dkd3drj sent an invalid response”. Please help. I can do a zoom if that helps.

    Scott,

Did you try the other address instead? The http://localhost:8080/ instead?

Do you get any output back in the command window when the browser tells you the invalid response? If so, could you please copy and paste that here?

    Hi Scott,
Thats a totally normal application window, and no errors are in that window. Confirming that nothing changes in that terminal window even after trying to head to localhost:8080. This means the application is starting up and running fine, but for some reason your browser is not reaching the application, which is running locally. Short of closing the terminal window and shutting down the application, I'm at a bit of a loss of what could be stopping the browser from reaching the local server. Do you have any adblocking running? Any firewalls on the machine? If you use an incognito window do you see the same behaviour (unable to load the localhost?).

Do you have any local port blocking or firewall software of any sort?

    Best,
    Ben
