    Hi John,

Can you give me a little more information please. You are exporting them from CalTopo and then opening the files in some other program or device? Which program/device? Can you send us an example file please?

    So made polygons in SarTopo.

This next when export out to a gpx file and import back in Sartopo.

How keep the polygons filler color when export out to GPX File?

This is the import to SarTopo from kml file.

    Hi John,

A GPX file doesn't really have a notion of a polygon- that is why when you export a polygon as a GPX and then import it back into the program, it imports as a line and not a polygon. If you want to keep the polygon geometry (including the fill) intact, then you'll have to export the data as either a KML or GeoJSON.

I'm not totally sure what you are asking about- can you elaborate on what exactly you'd like to do? Are you asking if we support using a pen on tablet to draw polygons on the map or something else?
