How can I create a map of a region (Scotland) at the 1:24000 scale to upload digitally? When I try to do this the region I need is too small.

Can you give me more detail about what you're trying to do? I don't follow the question.

Im wanting to upload a specific region in 24k scale, but the scale is small compared to the region. Would I need to upload it by using multiple pages digitally in the 24k scale?

Upload to CalTopo? Or export from CalTopo to upload somewhere else? What kind of file type are you working with? PDF or JPG? GPX or GeoJSON or KML?

I would suggest starting with the Working with GPS Units page on our training site. That page covers some of the ways you can move data between your GPS unit and CalTopo. I would also suggest checking out the MBTiles and Garmin Custom Map Files section, which covers how to export MBTiles as well as a KMZ file of your map from the Print page. Please note that some of these functions require a certain subscription level and if you are trying to export a large region, you may need to do it in a series of smaller batches. Hope that helps!
