Create layer from polygons?

I have a map with a lot of polygons on it. I want to display those polygons on another map but I don't want the actual map objects to be added to the other map (due to it causing it load slow etc.) Is there a way to create some kind of layer from the polygons that can then be displayed on the other map? I'm aware I can print the other map as a Geospatial PDF and then use that as a map sheet on the other map but then I get a bunch of additional info I don't need, like the base layer (unless I can have blank base layer somehow?) the scale ruler and QR code at the bottom etc. Is there a cleaner way to do this?

    Good morning,
We do not allow you create a custom layer based on polygons in CalTopo. Other software such as MapBox allows for completely custom layers which you can seamlessly import into CalTopo. Additional information is found here: including using shapefiles, but other methods of creating custom mapbox layers are similar.
