Mapbuild Topo layer wrong, but correct in OpenStreetMap -- where else to fix?

Hey,

I'm a novice OSM editor and noticed that some lake names are misplaced or missing in the MapBuilder Topo layer, but correct in the OpenStreetMap layer.

https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=46.01961,-121.7856&z=16&b=mbt

E.g. Bear Lake here is actually Lemei Lake, and Bear Lake is the next lake west, as you can see from the Forest Service and OSM layers. Where is MapBuilder Topo getting these incorrect names, and how can it be corrected? I believe this data has been in OSM for years.

Thanks

    Hi Ken,

We actually get hydrological data from the USGS data set, at least within the US. I'm not sure how one would go about getting them to fix it.

    Thanks,
    Julie
