2021 Beckwourth fire is missing from the map.

You can see it on inciweb, just southeast of the dixie fire, soon to be adjacent.

    Hi Robert,
    We source fire perimeter data from NIFC which is considered the authoritative source. The Beckwourth Complex fire specifically is missing from their data set currently for some reason. This happens from time to time with some fires. Even the Caldor Fire disappeared for a few hours recently. They usually correct it eventually.

    We only remove fire perimeters from the active fire layers after 100% containment and/or 7 days of inactivity, or if they vanish from the source data. Fires are eventually added to the NIFC historic fire data source, but that takes time to occur on NIFC's end and then we have to go back and pick up that update, so there is often a lag between when a fire disappears from Fire Activity overlay and then shows up in Fire History.
