Is it possible to view the lat long and elevation of the points on a line that CalTopo uses to estimate elevation gain and elevation loss of the line?

Also, same question for a route I import using a .gpx file from another source, such as a GPS device or non-CalTopop phone based GPS app. (I want to see the elevations of the points CalTopop uses to estimate elevation gain and loss, not the elevations I imported from another source.)

Thanks!

You can export a CSV with the values from the terrain stats view. Adjust the sampling interval in terrain stats before exporting if you wish for more or fewer points in the file and a more or less accurate summary/ total elevation gain and loss.

You can then use the spreadsheet to calculate any other values or changes between points that you require.

    best,
    Julie
