600 DPI Requirement
Hello,
I am trying to submit a CALTOPO map as part of a scientific article for a peer reviewed journal and they require 600 dpi for there figures. How do I achieve this level of resolution? Thanks in advance for any suggestions and please have a nice day.
Thanks,
JJ

Hi Joseph,
Pro subscriptions offer up to 400dpi resolution printing. We use that for our commercial printing partner and have no issues with quality (even for large high quality map prints).
Technically "dpi" only applies to images and doesn't apply to PDFs, the reasons are complicated, but are based on the difference between vector and raster graphics.
All that is to say, we don't have a way for you to generate 600dpi images, but with a pro account 400dpi is an option, and should be more than sufficient for profession printing needs.
Best,
Ben
