In Desktop can I customize the MapBuilder Topo layer if I am already using that layer?

If so how do I get there?

The " Add New Laker" menu options don't show a "Map Builder layer" as a pick?
See attached screen grab please.
Thanks Roger

    Hi Roger,

You can only create, edit and use a custom MapBuilder Topo layer in the web app. At this time there isn't a way to create one in the web app and then view it on the desktop app.

Thanks for the quick response, Meghan.
Can I subscribe to the web app also or change my subscription to web. I
don't care about the price diff, but I do want the custom layer.

    Hi Roger,

With you desktop subscription you also have access to the web app. Simply log in using the same account provider and email that you use for the desktop app. You will have access to any saved maps you created on the desktop app and vice versa as long as you sync your accounts.

More information on the custom MapBuilder layer can be found here: There is now a Load From option in the lower lefthand side of the MapBuilder Layer dialog which essentially allows you to edit any layers saved to your account. It allows you to load a layer that has been previously saved to your account and then you can make any changes to that layer in the dialog and save it back to your account (although you may want to delete the original since it won't replace that).

    Happy mapping,
