I can't see the menus on the left and right sides, either...

...Or the top menu, either (not without a microscope, at least).
The maps and the Chrome toolbar are not affected.
This started while I was using CalTopo on my laptop last week: I put my finger(s) down on the wrong key(s), and -blip- microscopic toolbars. I don't normally use my glasses, but I can't see the toolbars even WITH the glasses...

    Sounds/looks like you accidentally zoomed in with Chrome. I would try some of these suggestions: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-adjust-chromes-default-zoom-sett...
