Create voting icons to enable previously reported suggestions to be upvoted if another user supports the idea instead of creating a new discussion.

Thanks for the feedback. While we value the feedback of users, and we do take requests and thoughts of users into account when creating a development map and timeline. However that is not the only way we prioritize and develop features, and we often combine, tweak and iterate on user suggestions. We would rather users reach out with their thoughts, use cases, and insights. We don't ever see prioritizing features just based on votes, instead taking a much more holistic approach to improve the platform.

    Best,
    Ben

On March 7 2020 rmarcucci said: "With feature requests, we track these internally and do try to fast track things that get requested frequently"

Purely for an example: ESRI's site allows users to vote on feature requests. Just voting on something doesn't make it happen, but it gives an incentive to search for a feature request rather than just adding a new post.

Ha! Fair point regarding the posts.

Ben's comment is more in line with how we actually approach things these days, compared to what Rom said in the past.

    Thanks,
    Julie
