feature request: copy objects to existing map
The Export -> Copy to New Map feature is a handy timesaver - it cuts out a couple of extra clicks. We would find it handy to have another entry in the same menu to Copy to Existing Map. This would also just save a few clicks, but would also be more intuitive to folks who are not comfortable with files in general.
The specific use case was on a search last night when one task was drawing a driving route from our station to the command post about an hour away. To get a clean line I used snap-to-OSM, with the corresponding lag whenever there are a lot of streets on the screen. So the task took several minutes. This pointed out that we should probably build a map with a collection of these driving-directions lines, so we can just copy the ones we want to the existing map.

Thanks for sharing your feature request as well as providing a specific use case! I will pass along your suggestion for being able to copy map objects to an existing map to our development team for consideration.
Thanks again,
Meghan
