How to fix numerous folders opening despite being deselected.

The other day I added about 100 folders to my map to help organize the 1000 or so tracks the map includes, and because I noticed the map was slowing down Firefox. (Also, I use Windows 10.) When I was done, I deselected all the folders so that they wouldn't be open when I turned on my computer and went to the map page. For some reason, about the first 30 folders remain open when I open the map, despite being deselected, so now the map takes an eternity to open. I've attached a screenshot. Any ideas how I could fix this or what's going on? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Bill,

Simply deselecting a folder by clicking the box next to the folder name only hides that folder for your current view. If you reload the page, the folder will be visible by default. To set a folder to not display on page load, you have to edit the folder (click the pencil icon next to the folder name) and then deselect the box next to "If checked, folder objects will be visible on page load". Check out this page in our user guide for more information on setting folder visibility:

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Meghan,
Great, thank you for the quick reply. Aha -- I didn't realized that each
folder had two blue checkmarks. That does the trick -- thanks again!
