Trouble editing imported track

I imported a track from my Android app, made a copy so that I could edit it. I could open the edit window on the copied track line, but the vertex bubbles didn't display. But if I reversed the track, all good. Don't see this in the documentation, so assume it might be a bug? Thx, David

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out! There should be a notice in the Edit Object dialog that says "This object's GPS time/ elevation data will be lost on edit" with an "edit anyway" link below it. If you click the "edit anyway" link, you should then be able to see the vertex bubbles and edit the track without having to reverse it.

I don't get the dialog to throw away the GPS data until I reverse the track (or perhaps one of the other "Modify" choices, didn't try). Simply selecting "Edit" on the copied track gives me the edit box with the warning, but clicking on the usual "OK" (next to "Cancel") at the bottom doesn't give me the vertices.

Below the warning should be an edit anyway link (please see screenshot). Do you see this option? Clicking the edit anyway link will make the vertex bubbles visible and allow you to edit the track.

Got it, thanks. I thought the "OK" was what triggered the "edit anyway".
Maybe consider making the "edit anyway" a button, rather than just text?

Thanks for the feedback David- I'll pass it along to our development team for consideration. And thanks for using CalTopo!
