'AppMarkers'? - how to distinguish app-generated markers from web-genereated markers

We had a pretty large training today with 50+ people using apptracks. Some of them made markers in the field, and at the command post we noticed the confusion: the app-generated markers got placed in the same folder as the web-generated markers, so there was no way to tell which marker was made by the planning section, or which marker was made by the searcher in the field.

We had a few ideas to deal with this:
- train the planning section workers to make markers in a new folder 'PlanningMarkers' or some arbitrary name, just to make sure they were separate from the app-generated markers. The thought is that it's easier to train the planners to use a different folder, than to train all searchers to use a different folder from their app.

OR

- train the searchers to use a more specific marker naming convention, something that includes their team name or SAR ID or such

OR

- submit a feature request for the app, to have all app-generated markers automatically show up in a folder called 'AppMarkers' or such, partially similar to the distinction between AppTracks and Lines And Polygons.

What's your best advice on avoiding this confusion / differentiating app-generated markers from web-page-generated-markers? Would said feature request be something that you could consider?

(Other feedback: the web page syncing worked like a champ - we used <our-IC-trailer-server-IP>:8080/m/ABCD all day, which was the LAN counterpart of the online map sartopo.com/m/ABCD, while we had good internet with a SatRunner all day. We did have a lot of apptracks left over at the end, and we confirmed with a few of them that they did finish the apptrack on their phone - so it's puzzling that the AppTrack objects still exist which we moved to a folder called 'Tracks' - anything you could do to take a look would be great, but we don't have enough detail to justify a bug report.)

We won't be doing this. There is intentionally no difference between objects created on the app, the desktop application, and the web. The only reason app tracks is shown that way is because they are a unique object type (not just a line) because of the fact they are actively being written while being displayed. The intended behaviour is for the app track to convert to a line as soon as it is finished on the device. We will look into the report that some app tracks do not convert correctly to lines that would be a bug.

Managing markers inbound from the field is up to you and your team on how you want to manage them. My organization has naming conventions if field teams add markers, but the folder idea is solid too. There are a lot of ways to manage team data and most have their pros/cons.

    Best,
    Ben

Ok thanks - the certainty definitely helps us figure out the best way
    forward for our team.
Not sure if I mentioned it, the map in question from our training is J6TE.
